YouFit for Youveda

Mobile App Extension – UX Designer

Problem Statement

It is a challenge to stick to an exercise routine mainly because it is not suited well for a users schedule, interest or level. Youveda’s ‘YouFit’ is focussed on providing support and motivation to their customers to follow an exercise routine that suits their body and best supports the supplements they take. YouFit aims at helping the users to get into an exercise of their choice by holding their hand a bit and providing routines, guides, interactive examples and other information.

My Role

UX Designer

Brainstorming

After the initial discussion, I sketched out my ideas on paper and shared with the whole team.

User Flow

I created the user flow using draw.io to document the series of steps and the interactions the user would follow though the whole process.

Wireframing

Based on the features we decided for the first release I created wireframes using Balsamiq and shared with the team to get early feedback on the features and functionality.

Low Fidelity Mockups

After getting a go ahead, I created low fidelity mockups using sketch keeping in mind the visual hierarchy and spacing. This helped the team to visualize the concept, give feedback and and made sure that we are all on the same page.

The Solution

Our final solution was a personalised training program called ‘YouFit’ that would suggest the user a fitness routine based on the supplement selected and also that suited the users interest, level and schedule.

Main features of the app:

  • Personalized daily routine that fits well in the users routine.

  • My Favorites: Shows the articles, videos etc bookmarked by the user.

  • My Achievements: To share achievement badges on social media

  • Activity Tracker: To track daily/weekly/monthly progress on tasks.
